EPAC Idol is a FUN singing competition for adults and kids 10 years of age and older. Its purpose is to raise funds for EPAC as well as to raise awareness of EPAC's mission.

How EPAC Idol Works

Register

Each contestant will register online or at the EPAC Box Office. The contestant will register for one open AUDITION.

Audition

Arriving at the audition of your choice, you will fill out a very simple form that will follow you throughout the competition.

Now SING without music! You will be scored on this audition and your name will be posted on the website if you will be going on to compete at the next level (semifinals).

Semifinals

At the Semi-Final event, the contestants in each division will be singing one song each to music they supply on a CD. The judges AND the audience will be voting for their favorite singer SO bring lots of friends to cheer you on. Audience admission tickets are required.  They are available online or at the theater box office.

Finals

Everyone returns to the theater for the Finals show, , where the contestants will perform a group song, then the finalists in each division will be selected to sing with their CD and compete for the title of EPAC Idol in their division. The audience alone will vote for the final winner so bring lots of friends to cheer you on! There will be additional entertainment in the show too! Look for some surprises. Tickets are available online or at the theater box office or at the EPAC website.

There will be an Idol winner (first place) and a runner up in each division. Check out the awesome prizes!

Here's what some

past EPAC Idol participants said:

"What a great job everyone involved did!

I know my daughter had an absolute blast performing and our whole group had a great time! Brooke said the best part of her experience was getting such a great reaction from the crowd (or as she puts it the "fans") while performing, on stage and after finishing her songs, in the semi's and the finals.

She also had fun deciding which songs to sing, what to wear and had a great time with the other semi finalists practicing and singing the song they did together, the night of the finals.

THANKS AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR'S SHOW!"

"If there is anything we can do to help with your event, just ask. It was so much fun last year. Getting the interest from Jeff DaBella, (Mansion Audio Productions) after your event last year, gave Kaitlyn the encouragement she needed to pursue her interests of writing and recording. Now, Millennium Entertainment is marketing her for events this summer and Artist Development Network is going to be shopping her original songs to some major record labels once her songs are completed. So, in essence, her original CD release is, in part, a big thanks to you and your event. Thank You!"

"I had so much fun competing in EPACidol in 2010!  I met so many new friends and it was such an amazing experience. This competition inspired me to write and record my own original songs and it has been such an exciting journey. I wish all of this year's contestants the best of luck. Enjoy every minute and take it all in. Thank you also to Russ Swanger and all of the sponsors who help make this event so much fun and such a huge success!"
