BASKETS FOR THE DEVON SPEARS SCHOLARSHIP FUND-
Each year, we raffle off a number of gift baskets to benefit the Devon Spears Scholarship Fund. The fund was established to honor the memory of Devon Spears, a former member of the EPAC Kids Theater Workshop who was tragically murdered 10 years ago.
Over the past 10 years, EPAC has given out over $20,000 in scholarships to graduating high school students pursuing a higher education in the Arts.
In past years, we have been able to generate 15 – 20 gift baskets with raffle ticket sales each year of $750 - $1,000 all of which benefits the Scholarship fund. This has become one of the major fundraisers for Friends of EPAC and we certainly do appreciate it and thank you! If you or a local business you know would like to donate a basket for the raffle, please contact Kevin Yeager at kyeageresq@aol.com.
Baskets should be delivered to the theater between Monday, February 6th and Thursday, February 9th. Tickets will be available to purchase at the Scholarship Showcase on February 11th and will be sold through the two weekends of the EPAC Kids Theater Workshop production of The Beauty & the Beast (March 8th – March 18th).
Winning raffle tickets will be drawn during the intermission of the last show on Sunday, March 18th.
