ROY BOOK BINDER, has earned his stripes.... THE BOOK, traveled with The Rev. Gary Davis in the 60's, Re-discovered Pink Anderson and revived his career in the 70's and has been included in THE BLUES WHO'S WHO & THE BIG BOOK OF BLUES.

JORMA KAUKONEN included Roy's songs on his last two RED HOUSE RECORDS.

The Book left Greenwich Village in 1976, moved into a tour bus and lived on the road for the next 15 years! Roy borrowed from his heroes to become a distinct voice in the Blues and Folk music world. "The stories are as good as the songs", said The Sydney Morning Herald in Australia.

He has appeared at THE NATIONAL STORYTELLING FESTIVAL in Jonesborough Tn., numerous times! .... as well as THE CHICAGO BLUES FESTIVAL, THE NEW ORLEANS JAZZ & HERITAGE FESTIVAL and THE KING BISCUIT BLUES FESTIVAL.

At MERLEFEST, The Book has hosted the acoustic blues stage for the past 16 years and he has been invited more than a few times to appear at world famous, PHILADELPHIA FOLK FESTIVAL.....including the 40th anniversary and the 50th anniversary!

Roy Book Binder has been to Hell & back....(Blues Festival in Hell Norway last August)

But he is still out on the road entertaining audiences around the world, where he is well known as a SINGING-SONGWRITING-SORYTELLING-FINGERPICKIN' BLUES LEGEND.
