This section contains more specific data about the web site than you ever wanted to know.  While you could figure most of this out from the generated HTML code, the specifics are included here mostly for reference by the current and future webmasters to match new material with what is here now.

    Local Buttons

  • The linkage buttons (NOT those on the navigation bar) were generated on Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.  The raw button is 600 pixels wide, 150 high using the rounded rectangle pattern with a corner radius of 50 pixels. The blue color is pastel cyan, #66CCFF. The shading was achieved by using the Fog effect in Image Effects. The text was added as 18-point type in Arial Bold or Arial Narrow Bold. The whole shebang was reduced to 25% for the final result of a GIF file 150 wide x 38 high.
  • The function of navigation buttons changing color when hovering over a button is provided by NetObjectsFusioin Essentials.

  • The font used (nearly) throughout is Arial.

    Screen and related dimensions

  • The width of the banner is 600 pixels.
  • The layout area starts at 130 pixels from the left edge
  • The total screen width is 1000 pixels
  • Most boxes end at 960 or 980 to leave a small margin on the right.

    Navigation Area

  • Buttons are 120 long x 40 high.
  • The active button is brown.  Inactive buttons are white.
  • The secondary active button is the same brown. Inactive buttons are light brown (which looks gray to me)
  • Buttons were generated by www.tomaweb.com/buttons.asp.

    Logos

  • The vast majority of logos for shows and related items were obtained from EPAC archives.
